I just emailed this to Mike Bresnahan, sports reporter at the LA Times (who wrote an article in today's paper about Lakers Coach D'Antoni:
Thank you for your article in today's LA Times. I like Mr. D'Antoni personally, but I think for the sake of the team, he has got to go. Despite the many injuries and misfortunes that have happened to the Lakers, we need a coach with more than a good sense of humor to get us through this difficult time. We need someone to inspire them to be their best, despite the difficulties. He does not do that. I don't see him getting excited at games, or making inspiring calls. This is nothing personal to Mr. D'Antoni, but a new coach and change in players could give the Lakers a fresh start next season, something I'm sure we can all agree is sorely needed.
