Yesterday I returned for another day at Dances with Films film festival at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood. I was impressed with the overall quality and variety of both the short films and feature length films at this festival. It is also very well-organized, and I even found a parking lot that is not too expensive!
One feature film of note I saw last night was A New York Love Story written, produced and starring the multi-talented Apolla Echino, along with others in her crew. This is a very good story of an open relationship between a dancer and a painter in New York City. It is very nicely filmed and beautifully told.
I'll be returning often to the festival which runs through June 8th, for more information visit danceswithfilms.com. There's also more photos from the festival on my Flickr page here: flickr.com/joybennett.
