New York City Hotels

12/28/2013

Hotels in New York City are sky high now so some friends of mine had the idea of staying in Secaucus, New Jersey at the Hyatt Place.  There is a bus that takes you right to New York City, and they have much cheaper rooms!  Great idea.  Visit hyattplace.com for more information.  There are other hotels but they seemed to say this one was particularly nice.

The express bus stops right in front of the Hyatt Place Hotel and after less than 15 minutes drops passengers off at the Port Authority bus terminal in NYC.
The Hyatt is clean, quiet and includes New York Bagels fresh every morning for breakfast. Only criticism is decor could have had more charm.
We booked it because mediocure hotels in Manhattan were going for over $350/night when we visited during high season and we are very glad we did.
