Just got back from a weekend in Palm Springs at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. This was a wonderful event featuring excellent films and shorts from all corners of the world. The festival was extremely well organized, with very friendly staff and volunteers, in a beautiful, sunny location. It was their 25th year, so congratulations are very much in order! I was fortunate to stay at a lovely, very relaxing hotel, the Korakia, which is quite unusual in that they don't have any TV's or phones in the rooms! They do have two lovely heated salt water pools, and beautiful grounds, see photo above. It's right in the heart of Palm Springs and walking distance to the town, yet you would think you are in an exotic Moroccan hideaway from the design and furnishings of this lovely and unique place.
